The world reflected on Strokes singer Julian Casablancas’s first solo album is, in many ways, that of the year 2010 envisioned by someone living in the 1970s; everything is a neon-framed laser light show replete with synthy keyboard loops and computerized drums at an ever-bustling pace that is both exhausting and invigorating.
